Special Effects and Prop Making

To generate buzz for the NBA All-Star game held here in Toronto, Performance Solutions was contracted to recreate the popular BB-8 droid from the recent Star Wars movie, and incorporate a major branding change to reflect the Bank of Montreal campaign.

Performance would be responsible to create the ball and have it perform as BB-8 did. Talented special effects technicians and prop makers were building and testing right down to the wire. Once these components came together the magic happened, and the BMO BALLSTAR was born.
